Job Title: Electrical Engineer

Job Description

Join a dynamic team as an Electrical Engineer where you will engage in electrical design, engineering, and drafting for commercial building construction using REVIT. This role requires proficiency in electrical design from schematic to completion and the ability to perform essential calculations for services and voltage drop.

Responsibilities

Design electrical systems for commercial and high-rise building construction using REVIT and AutoCAD.

Perform electrical engineering, drafting, and calculations for commercial building projects.

Translate red lines and markups from engineering staff into REVIT and AutoCAD.

Provide design input from schematic stages through to project completion.

Ensure compliance with NEC codes and standards.

Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team in a consulting environment.

Essential Skills

Proficiency in REVIT and AutoCAD.

2+ years of experience in electrical design or drafting with an MEP consulting firm.

Comprehensive knowledge of the National Electric Code (NEC).

Ability to perform electrical design and calculations for lighting, power, and voltage.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

5+ years of experience preferred, but 2-3 years considered.

Experience with power distribution, generator systems, and infrastructure for mixed-use and commercial buildings.

Engineering degree preferred but not required; interest in obtaining a PE license is valued.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $38.00 - $48.00/hr.
