As an Advanced Test Engineer here at ACST Honeywell, you will play a pivotal role in building out our internal calibration capability program that enhances our R&D processes.
You will report directly to an R&D Manager and you'll work out of our Broomfield, CO location on an On-site work schedule.
This role requires a technical expert who will design and execute test plans, ensuring precision in the development in calibration of complex systems and instruments. The engineer will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, identifying opportunities for process improvements and integrating advanced testing methodologies. By leveraging data analysis and innovative testing techniques, the Advanced Test Engineer will contribute to optimizing R&D processes by building internal calibration capabilities and processes. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop and implement in-house calibration and metrology solutions for supporting R&D testing and processes.
Ensure equipment performance is accurate and precise by monitoring performance and identifying compliance based on the equipment and systems.
Collect and interpret data analysis to ensure compliance for equipment and systems while supporting R&D objectives.
Collaborate with physicists, engineers, and technicians in a cross functional team environment.
Performing necessary experiments for validating calibration efforts.
U.S. citizenship required to obtain and maintain government security clearance
YOU MUST HAVE
Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as the sciences, technology, engineering, or mathematics
Minimum of 5 years of experience in test engineering with a focus on calibration and metrology, or related experience.
Strong knowledge of calibration of equipment, electronics equipment, and systems.
Proficiency in using calibration tools and software for data analysis.
Experience with statistical analysis and accuracy and precision methodologies.
U.S. citizenship required to obtain and maintain government security clearance.
Experience with low temperature cryogenic design, analysis, and experimental systems
Understanding of experimental design to gather the desired data.
WE VALUE
Master's degree in engineering with 3-4 years of experience, or PhD with 0-2 years of experience.
Experience with precision instruments and equipment.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.
Passion for innovation and continuous improvement in testing processes.
Attention to detail and excellent problem-solving capability
Applicants must also be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance. Continued employment is contingent upon successful completion of security processing.
The annual base salary range for this position is $104,000 - $130,000. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline.
