As a Senior Finance Manager on Microsoft's Consumer Margin and AI team , you'll play a pivotal role in shaping the financial strategy behind some of our most impactful businesses-Search, News, Ads, and Copilot. Your work ensures healthy margins, optimizes operational costs, and drives investment decisions that fuel innovation and growth. In this role, you'll lead margin and investment analysis, support annual planning and forecasting, and provide strategic guidance during financial close periods. You'll leverage advanced financial modeling, integrate diverse data sources into clear narratives, and collaborate across teams to manage risk and ensure compliance. By influencing structural efficiencies and long-term bets, you'll help deliver sustainable value to customers and advance Microsoft's AI-first vision-all within a collaborative, inclusive environment that values diverse perspectives and bold ideas.

Lead the WebXT Infrastructure Platform strategy to advance fleet management and improve efficiencies for all non-GPU capacity infrastructure resources.
Collaborate with engineering partners to design frameworks and define KPIs that measure infrastructure unit cost and usage drivers.
Drive ROI analysis on AI investments across the WebXT portfolio to ensure value and impact.
Drive financial planning and forecasting, provide strategic guidance during close periods, and deliver clear, actionable insights to support executive decision-making across WebXT business and finance leadership.
Partner with revenue teams to understand and optimize the margin profile of our AI business within WebXT.
Leverage advanced financial modeling and integrate diverse data sources into clear, compelling narratives that inform decision-making.

Qualifications
Required/Minimum Qualifications
Master's Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Data Science or related field AND 2+ years experience in financial analysis, accounting, controllership or finance, or related field OR Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Data Science or related field AND 4+ years experience in financial analysis, accounting, controllership or finance, or related field OR equivalent experience.
3+ years of experience partnering with stakeholders to influence decisions, build trust, and drive collaborative outcomes, demonstrated through successful delivery of projects or initiatives.
Additional or Preferred Qualifications:
4+ year(s) experience in data analysis and financial modeling, including experience working with financial systems and tools.
3+ year(s) experience in delivering high-value, high-impact projects through both individual contributions and cross-functional team collaboration.
3+ year(s) experience in operating at multiple levels-from strategic, high-level initiatives to detailed cost analysis such as Cost of Goods Sold (COGS).
Financial Analysis IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $96,500 - $188,400 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $123,500 - $206,400 per year.
