As a Security Officer - Patrol Driver Industrial in Cedar Rapids, IA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more.

As an unarmed patrol professional with Allied Universal at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas to help foster a secure environment. Your presence will help to deter security-related incidents while you provide outstanding customer service and clear communication. This position requires a valid driver's license, as you may be responsible for vehicle patrols in addition to foot patrols. What You'll Do:

Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites

Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education

Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams

Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service

Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as directed by Allied Universal.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following protocols established for manufacturing and industrial locations.

Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and support a secure environment.

Monitor entry and exit points, checking credentials and maintaining awareness of the surroundings.

Report and document any unusual activity, hazards, or security-related incidents as observed during patrols.

Support Allied Universal leadership with site-specific tasks and communication as needed.

Assist with access control, visitor management, and adherence to facility policies and procedures.

Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available

Minimum Requirements:

A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
