Job Title: Mechanical Engineer

Responsibilities

Obtain project design hours and delivery milestone date objectives for each assigned project while designing a reliable and efficient machine at the lowest cost.

Assist the project manager in design concept review meetings to discuss customer specifications and innovative, cost-effective machine design concepts.

Break down large project designs into manageable tasks and oversee in-house designers and external design houses, ensuring clear communication of design scope and schedule.

Submit detailed mechanical design schedules to the project manager to support detailed project scheduling within one week of project kick-off.

Coordinate with the project manager to assign mechanical designers to design tasks and supervise them to meet project schedule milestones.

Apply sound design practices to develop hydraulic and pneumatic components, coordinating with controls engineers to order correct electrical components.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $43.00 - $53.00/hr.
