As a Product Manager focusing on Data Modernization, you'll be joining a passionate team of product managers, designers, engineers, data scientists, and analysts working to create the real time, intelligent, Bank of the future. You will be responsible for building and executing the strategy for the future of database usage at Retail Bank. You might work on identifying the right capabilities to enable the quick retrieval of key information that helps us protect our customers from the bad guys. You might support data analysts as they uncover insights in our data that enable a key insight. You might build key capabilities to help data users migrate to our next generation modern data ecosystem. One thing is for sure: you will dream and you will ship.
On any given day in the Bank you'll be:

Wrangler. You've gotten back-end engineers to play nice with iOS developers, you can inspire an ETL developer to write creatively about her latest pipeline.

Basic Qualifications:
At least 3 years of experience working in Product Management
Currently has, or is in the process of obtaining one of the following with an expectation that the required degree will be obtained on or before the scheduled start date:
A Bachelor's Degree in a quantitative field (Statistics, Economics, Operations Research, Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Information Systems or a related quantitative field)
A Master's Degree in a quantitative field (Statistics, Economics, Operations Research, Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Information Systems or a related quantitative field) or an MBA with a quantitative concentration
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience translating business strategy and analysis into consumer facing digital products

The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Capital One is willing to pay at the time of this posting. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.
McLean, VA: $158,400 - $180,800 for Manager, Product Management
New York, NY: $172,800 - $197,200 for Manager, Product Management
Wilmington, DE: $144,000 - $164,400 for Manager, Product Management
Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location, and the actual annualized salary amount offered to any candidate at the time of hire will be reflected solely in the candidate's offer letter.
This role is also eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI). Incentives could be discretionary or non discretionary depending on the plan.
