Customer Service Representative - Brandywine, MD

Pay Rate: $ 17.00/hr

Schedule: Monday-Friday | 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Type: Contract-to-Hire

Location: Brandywine, MD (must have reliable transportation - not metro accessible)

About the Role

Adecco is currently assisting a local auto auction facility in recruiting for a Customer Service Representative in Brandywine, MD. This is a contract-to-hire opportunity offering full-time hours and long-term potential for the right candidate.

As a Customer Service Representative, you'll be the first point of contact for customers - handling calls, processing documentation, and ensuring all customer interactions are professional, efficient, and accurate.

Key Responsibilities

Handle incoming customer calls and provide excellent service

Process orders, assignments, and data entry into internal systems

Respond to customer inquiries and resolve issues professionally

Prepare and process paperwork for auction day, securing necessary approvals

Maintain accurate customer records and documentation

Provide general office support including filing, word processing, and clerical tasks

Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operations

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of work experience (customer service or office environment)

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Excellent problem-solving and time management abilities

High call volume experience required

Dispatch experience preferred

Typing speed: 30+ WPM

High attention to detail and accuracy

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Perfect attendance and reliability required

Must have reliable transportation (location not metro accessible)

Willingness to work overtime as needed

Pay Details: $17.00 per hour
