POSITION:
Cashco has an opening for an Entry Level Assembler.
Summary
An Entry Level Assembler must have a great attitude, ability to learn
quickly and can adapt in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
Efficiently assemble quality production parts using hand tools,
power tools, or machinery in a safe manner
Troubleshooting issues that arise during the assembly process and
help implement solutions to ensure a smooth workflow.
Identify and report any defects or issues at any given time
Follow safety procedures
Maintain a clean and organized working environment
Effectively meeting production goals in a timely manner
Communicating with other employees and supervisors as necessary
May be responsible for training new employees and providing guidance
to less experienced Assemblers.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent
Must have the ability to read blueprints and understand the assembly
process
Must possess basic computer knowledge
Must have a technical aptitude and an understanding of mechanical
principles
The ability to communicate openly in a team environment
Strong attention to detail along with organizational and
problem-solving skills
Candidate must be able to stand for long periods of time, lift heavy
objects and perform physical tasks daily
Requirements:
Physical Demands
Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, or reach for extended periods.
Ability to lift, push, or pull up to a specified weight (often 2550
lbs).
Fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination for handling tools or
materials.
Ability to operate machinery, equipment, or computers.
Occasional climbing of ladders or stairs.
Sensory Requirements
Good vision, including close vision, distance vision, color vision,
depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
Ability to hear and communicate clearly in a manufacturing or office
environment.
Ability to work with or near loud noise (hearing protection may be
required).
Work Conditions
Exposure to manufacturing floor environment (noise, dust,
temperature variations).
May require wearing personal protective equipment (PPE) such as
safety glasses, gloves, hearing protection, or steel-toe shoes.
Working near moving mechanical parts or equipment.
Occasional exposure to chemicals, fumes, or airborne particles (with
safety precautions in place).
Variable weather conditions if work requires indoor/outdoor
movement.
