Overview Egan Company is seeking a full-time Electrical Maintenance Account Manager to join our collaborative and innovative team, located out of our Champlin, MN facility. The Electrical Maintenance Account Manager must be an experienced self-starter and strong relationship builder who thrives in fast-paced environments and has a strong understanding of electrical systems. In this rewarding role, you'll work alongside building owners, property, facility, and plant managers supporting their facilities through preventative maintenance contracts. Responsibilities Prospecting for new maintenance agreement customers by leveraging Egan's existing customer base, cold-calling, dropping in, referrals, networking, attending industry events, etc. Ownership of the Electrical Planned Maintenance agreement process- work with internal parties and external customers in pursuit of prospective agreements to optimize performance, reliability, and safety of electrical systems while promoting Egan's other preventative maintenance capabilities. Promote Egan's electrical service and maintenance offerings, including preventative maintenance programs, system upgrades, and emergency service solutions. Represent Egan Company by engaging in professional organizations to promote the brand and develop strong business relationships Work closely with Account Management and Marketing teams to generate new business growth through Electrical Planned Maintenance agreements. Collaborate with Egan's technical teams to prepare proposals, estimates, and agreements. Identify new accounts and lead opportunities and champion follow-up. Enter Electrical Planned Maintenance Agreements information into the contract database. Use CRM software to manage customer communications, activities, and opportunities. Become a champion of asset management and EPM estimating software. Respond to internal and external phone calls and emails for maximum customer satisfaction and sales. Monitor industry trends and provide insights to existing and potential customers. Responsible for meeting annual sales goals. Promote a positive safety culture and build strong internal partnerships; work collaboratively within a group and with other Egan groups to support Egan's Mission, Vision, and Values. Approve accounts payable and receivable in a timely manner. Attend sales and other required meetings. Attend monthly safety lunches and perform safety audits to promote a Stay Safe culture. Identify and communicate process improvements and other opportunities to management. Visit jobsites and customer sites regularly. All other duties as assigned. Requirements Minimum of five years of sales, business development, electrical, or marketing experience in a cross-functional or customer service organization. High school diploma required; Associates or Bachelors degree preferred. Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license and acceptable driving record. Qualifications Demonstrated hands-on experience with proposal development and customer presentations. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage and execute multiple contracts under competing deadlines. Thrive in a fast paced, ever-changing environment. Ability to make mature judgments in matters related to client relations efforts. Preferred working knowledge with customer relationship management systems (ie. Copper, Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics CRM, or similar). Growth mindset with the ability to quickly learn and adapt to changing technology. Excellent listening and communication skills (both verbal and written), with the ability to present ideas and complex information in a concise, professional manner. Working knowledge of estimating processes and procedures. Ability to present to both internal and external groups. Ability to learn and promote other areas of the business. Proficient in the use of computer programs such as Microsoft Office and Google Suite. Demonstrated ability to develop strong relationships. Strong desire to grow professionally and to learn and retain technical information. Self-starter with strong initiative and follow-through. Establish and maintain excellent working relationships with our internal customers as well as external customers. Ability to successfully deliver work independently with minimum supervision and as part of a team. Must demonstrate strong negotiation and influencing skills when engaging with a wide range of stakeholders. Working Conditions Performance of duties will be in the office, at customer sites, and job sites as needed. Ability to stand or sit for extended periods of time. Exposure to loud noise, dirt, and exposure to the elements are to be expected on job sites. Climbing ladders/stairs, uneven ground, bending, kneeling, and twisting are to be expected on job sites.
