Job Summary

The Dorman Supply Chain Team is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Procurement Intern to join our dynamic team. This internship offers hands-on experience in procurement and supply chain operations, providing exposure to real-world business processes and supplier interactions.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

Demonstrates a strong desire to learn and contribute in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment Possesses excellent organizational and analytical skills Capable of working independently while also collaborating effectively with others Work Arrangement: This is a hybrid internship based at our corporate office in Colmar, PA (suburban Philadelphia). Interns will work on-site 3-4 days per week, with the option to work remotely 1-2 days per week.

Primary Duties

Support the procurement process by assisting with the sourcing and purchasing of goods and services Maintain and update procurement systems, records, and documentation Help prepare and analyze procurement reports, metrics, and data insights Collaborate with internal teams to understand purchasing needs and ensure timely delivery of materials Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas for improving procurement processes Assist in managing supplier relationships and help resolve any issues that may arise

Qualifications

Qualifications & Requirements: Completion of coursework in Business, Finance, or Accounting(preferred) Genuine interest in Supply Chain Management Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks in a dynamic environment Strongwritten and verbal communication skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite(Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Exceptionalattention to detailandanalytical thinking Willingness to take direction from project leads and proactively seek clarification when needed Demonstrates a high level ofintegrity and professionalism

Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to20 poundsas needed

Working Conditions: Regularly required toreach, swivel, carry items between buildings, and engage in active listening and communication Moderate noise levelin the work environment

Education / Experience

Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Graduate degreefrom an accredited college or university Major in Supply Chain, Business Administration, Information Systems Management, Data & Analytics, or a related field Completion of at least two years of college course work prior to the internship is preferred MinimumGPA of 3.0 Priorinternship experience, relevant work history, or involvement inprofessional clubs/organizationsis a plu

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $22.00 to $24.00.The actual base pay offered to the successful candidate will depend on multiple factors, including but not limited to job-related knowledge and skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal pay equity. Compensation decisions are made based on the specific facts and circumstances of each role and candidate. As a Dorman US contributor, you (and eligible dependents, as applicable) will have access to medical, dental, vision, basic life insurance, paid time off (sick/vacation), and Paid Parental Leave. U.S. employees are entitled to paid holidays, floating holidays, and paid time off starting in their first year of employment depending on hire date.
