As a Security Officer - Industrial Patrol in Harrodsburg, KY , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more.

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a dynamic manufacturing and industrial location, you will actively monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents and providing a visible presence throughout the site. You will interact with employees and visitors, offering outstanding customer service and clear communication. In this vital role, you will contribute to a positive and secure environment, backed by a team that values agility, reliability, and innovation, always putting people first and acting with integrity.

Mon06:00 AM - 02:00 PM

Tue06:00 AM - 02:00 PM

Wed06:00 AM - 02:00 PM

Thur06:00 AM - 02:00 PM

Fri06:00 AM - 02:00 PM

What You'll Do:

Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites

Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education

Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams

Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service

Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies while on duty at the manufacturing and industrial location.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, supporting emergency response activities as appropriate.

Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter potential unwanted activity and observe for any irregularities.

Monitor entrances, exits, and other key areas to help to deter unauthorized access and support the protection of assets.

Document observations, incidents, and activities in daily reports as required by Allied Universal protocols.

Collaborate with site personnel and/or visitors while maintaining a professional presence at all times.

What We're Looking For:

Availability across various days and shifts

Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments

A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company

Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available

Minimum Requirements:

Must have at least 1 year of security-related experience.

Must be at least 21 years of age.

CPR certification is preferred.

Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
