Required Qualifications: Applicants must specifically address how they meet these required qualifications to meet the requirements of the position.

2+ years of experience in facilities maintenance, custodial, or grounds services.

Demonstrated ability to perform detail-oriented work with a high degree of accuracy.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Strong customer service skills with the ability to work across diverse stakeholders.

Intermediate or higher proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

Experience building reports, data entry, and using digital tools to document work.

Preferred Qualifications

Associate's or bachelor's degree in Facilities Management, Business Administration, or a related field.

Experience performing quality assurance or quality control activities.

Experience supporting continuous process improvement initiatives.

Experience working in a higher education environment and collaborating across multiple departments or service areas.

Experience with Enterprise Resource Planning ( ERP ) systems, including SAP .

Experience with Integrated Workplace Management Systems ( IWMS ) or Computerized Maintenance Management Systems ( CMMS ), preferably AiM by AssetWorks.

Proficiency with data visualization and reporting tools (e.g., PowerBI, advanced Excel).

Job Description

The Quality Assurance (QA) Specialist will coordinate the activities of a program, project, team, and/or area within a department.

Job Duties

Conduct inspections and quality assurance reviews of facilities, and custodial.

Document findings and track corrective actions using ERP , IWMS , or CMMS software.

Provide feedback to service providers and escalate unresolved service deficiencies when needed.

Deliver outstanding customer service by exercising sound judgment in responding to requests and observations, ensuring timely follow-up with responsible parties.

Collect, enter, and analyze service data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.

Prepare recurring reports and dashboards, presenting recommendations to leadership.

Support continuous process improvement initiatives and compliance with internal standards.

Collaborate across multiple departments to align service delivery with organizational needs.

Perform other duties as assigned.
