Required Qualifications: Applicants must specifically address how they meet these required qualifications to meet the requirements of the position.

At least three years of relevant work experience in construction or project management.

Demonstrated ability to lead teams, manage projects, and develop and implement policies and procedures.

Knowledge of construction methods, building codes, regulations, and safety standards is essential.

Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills for managing teams and coordinating projects.

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, architecture, or a related field.

Previous work experience in a higher education environment.

Job Description

Responsible for planning, designing, estimating, scheduling, directing, and inspecting small-sized repair, maintenance, renovation and construction projects to ensure objectives are met.

Job Duties

Oversee execution of operational service contracts within Facilities Services.

Coordinate planning, design, bidding, and construction process to assure conformance with university standards, laws, codes, and regulations have been incorporated in the contract documents.

Lead various facility and utility distribution repair, maintenance, renovation and construction projects.

Evaluate and make recommendations on facility conditions, renovations, and repairs.

Estimate labor, materials, equipment, and construction costs for projects.

Provides exceptional customer service to stakeholders.
