Job Title: Warehouse Worker | East Moline, IL | $16/hr

Job Description

This role involves working within a container management and racking warehouse system where containers and racks that once housed parts are sent to be processed. The East Moline location focuses entirely on racks, while the Davenport location handles a mixture of racks and totes. Candidates with experience from similar environments, such as XPAC, often excel in this position.

Responsibilities

Manage the washing and processing of plastic totes, including loading, unloading, sorting, staging, and scanning.

Work in process lanes to manage the inbound flow of containers and racks, removing manufacturer tags and using a hand-scanner.

Repair large plastic containers using hand drills and screwdrivers, with container sizes ranging from 2x2 to 8x8.

Operate a forklift for the majority of the shift, including loading and unloading trucks and ensuring accurate shipment of containers.

Essential Skills

Experience with forklift operation, inventory management, RF scanners, and general warehouse tasks.

At least 6 months of recent labor or forklift experience.

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Capability to work 10 hours of overtime and availability to work on Saturdays.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Must be able to pass a forklift test, which involves navigating forward and backward through cones and lifting a pallet.

Work Environment

Candidates will be standing for the entire shift with breaks, engaging in tasks that require significant bending but no heavy lifting. The position includes work in various areas such as washing, floor processing, repair, and forklift operation.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $17.00/hr.
