Summary:

The Department of Surgery is seeking a highly motivated Administrative Coordinator to support the Acute Care Trauma Surgery Division. This position will serve as the primary administrative assistant to the Division Chief, providing high-level administrative and clerical support. The coordinator will also assist multiple Acute Care Trauma Surgery subdivisions, including faculty and Advanced Practice Providers. Responsibilities:

Provide day-to-day administrative support to the Division Chief and Acute Care Trauma Surgery providers

Manage calendar scheduling, coordinate meetings, conferences, and travel arrangements

Support providers with national organizations and committees

Process expense reports and handle purchasing activities

Screen incoming calls and visitors in a professional manner

Assist with faculty interviews and onboarding of new faculty

Manage confidential information with discretion

Monitor and respond to emails and electronic faxes as directed

Education Requirements:

? High School diploma or GED

Licensure/Certification Requirements:

? No licensure or certification required.

Professional Experience Requirements:

? Three (3) years of clerical or administrative experience.

? If Bachelor's degree, one (1) year of clerical or administrative experience.

? If Associate's degree, two (2) years of clerical or administrative experience.

Knowledge/Skills/and Abilities Requirements:

Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail

Strong verbal and written communication abilities

Demonstrated customer service orientation

Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively

Capable of working independently and meeting deadlines

Experience in project management

Background in professional writing and editing preferred
