Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team on a contract basis in Willingboro, New Jersey. In this role, you will play a crucial part in managing financial transactions, ensuring accurate record-keeping, and maintaining efficient payment processes. This is an excellent opportunity for Accounts Payable Clerk with a strong background in accounts payable and a keen eye for accuracy.

Responsibilities:

Process and verify invoices, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.

Perform three-way matching to validate invoices against purchase orders and receipts.

Reconcile accounts payable transactions and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.

Accurately record and apply payments to maintain updated financial records.

Assist with month-end closing activities by preparing reports and reconciling accounts.

Communicate with vendors and internal teams to address and resolve payment inquiries.

Monitor and maintain records of outstanding invoices and payment schedules.

Ensure all financial documentation is properly organized and readily accessible for audits.

Support the finance team with additional tasks and projects as needed.

Requirements - Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounts payable or a related finance role.

Strong knowledge of accounts payable processes, including three-way matching.

Proficiency in account reconciliation and financial transaction recording.

Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.

Ability to communicate effectively with vendors and internal stakeholders.

Basic proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office, especially Excel.

Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
