Industrial Maintenance Technician III (Ammonia Refrigeration)

At Lineage, our Maintenance Technicians play a key role in keeping our facilities operating smoothly. In this role, you'll work with a variety of systems: mechanical, electrical, and refrigeration (including ammonia) to help maintain, repair, and improve the equipment that powers our cold storage operations.

What You'll Do

Install, maintain, and repair machinery, equipment, and building systems-including plumbing, electrical, and refrigeration (ammonia).

Perform routine inspections, testing, and preventive maintenance to keep refrigeration systems running safely and efficiently.

Troubleshoot and repair motors, wiring, and electrical or electronic components according to electrical codes and standards.

Maintain and repair building infrastructure and material-handling equipment.

Accurately complete daily work orders and log all tasks in our computerized maintenance management system (CMMS).

Communicate maintenance updates, inspection results, and equipment needs with your team and leadership.

Support outside contractors as needed to ensure safety standards are met.

Safely operate motorized lifts and other equipment for inspections and maintenance.

What We're Looking For

3+ years of mechanical experience maintaining motorized lifts, warehouse, processing, or manufacturing equipment (or a combination of experience and trade school).

2+ years of experience in industrial refrigeration (ammonia, Freon, and/or CO2).

Experience with pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical systems.

Strong communication and problem-solving skills-you'll work closely with both technical and non-technical team members.

Computer proficiency, especially in Word and Excel.

Ability to lift 40 lbs (18 kg) and work in various temperature environments-from -20°F in cold storage to 100°F in dry storage (with provided PPE).

Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends if needed.

Commitment to safety and following all company and regulatory standards.

Successful completion of Refrigeration Operator I (CARO) or equivalent certification within 6 months of hire .

Pay Range:$28.56 - $48.17
