Summary: The Service Sales Representative is responsible for all functions regarding the prospecting of, sales, and booking of maintenance service and repairs in their market. and#10;Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following: and#10;and#149; Primarily the correct and profitable estimating, quoting, and sales of maintenance service and repairs of vertical transportation equipment according to company guidelines. This includes all product lines of traction and hydraulic equipment both commercial and residential as well as accessibility products, dumbwaiters, and material lifts or other conveyances. and#10;and#149; Develop relationships with and work with owners, developers, and management companies to write contracts and bid proposals. and#10;and#149; Learn how and keep up to date with our different contracts, competitor contracts, and consultant contracts and specifications. and#10;and#149; Learn and keep up to date with the various lines of vertical transportation. and#10;and#149; Develop and maintain relationships with our vendors to stay up to date on products and Codes. and#10;and#149; Participate in local association meetings and events to further exposure of our services. and#10;and#149; Maintain excellent customer relations through personal contact and service. and#10;and#149; Learn and properly use the Jonas system for estimating and billing etc. and#10;and#149; Prepare proper and professional quotations and proposals per Company guidelines. and#10;and#149; Follow up on all quotations until project is awarded and if lost, pursue bid tabs. and#10;and#149; Conduct project negotiations to benefit the company regarding profit, products, and terms. and#10;and#149; For repairs, work with area foreman to perform complete site surveys including adequate and abundant pictures to show all equipment, product data, access, dimensions, and work by other's items. and#10;and#149; Work closely with area superintendents and foreman to conduct services and learn about products and hours to service and repair. and#10;and#149; Work closely with area service technicians for leads for service and repairs. and#10;and#149; Assist with surveys - onsite and checking ones done by others to match what you quoted. and#10;and#149; All other duties as assigned by the local Manager or General Manager. and#10;Supervisory Responsibility: and#10;and#149; This job has no direct supervisory responsibilities. and#10;Qualifications: and#10;and#149; To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to carry out each essential duty satisfactorily. and#10;and#149; The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required.
