Our client, the retail industry, is seeking a Food Service Worker - Retail to join their team. As a Food Service Worker - Retail, you will be part of the retail operations supporting customer service and food preparation teams. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, a positive attitude, and a commitment to excellence, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Food Service Worker - Retail

Location: Marquette, MI

Pay Range:

Shift: - Variable shifts/days/locations, including afternoon and weekend shifts; typical work hours are Sunday - Friday, with shift start times between the hours of 7:30 am and 12:00 pm, Weekend work is a needed...could flex a bit with a weekend here and there off.

What's the Job?

Perform daily maintenance and operation of retail food service activities under routine supervision

Prepare and sell a variety of food, beverage, and retail items to customers

Deliver excellent customer service and uphold retail standards

Assess customer orders and expedite food from the kitchen to the service team

Ensure cleanliness and safety standards are maintained in the retail environment

What's Needed?

Required Minimum Work Experience: Eighteen months of experience in retail or convenience store or retail restaurant, including cash registers, food preparation, serving, and customer service.

Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends

Strong customer service skills and attention to detail
