Temp to Hire

Core Responsibilities

Data Management: Organizing, updating, and maintaining databases and records.

Error Correction: Identifying and rectifying discrepancies or incorrect information in datasets.

Reporting: Generating data reports and providing requested information to team members or executives.

Confidentiality: Maintaining the confidentiality of sensitive data and records.

Data Input: Entering data from source documents into databases, spreadsheets, or other computer systems.

Data Verification: Checking entered data against source documents to ensure accuracy and completeness.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Typing Speed and Accuracy: Fast and precise typing is essential for efficiently inputting large volumes of data.

Attention to Detail: A meticulous eye is crucial for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of the data.

Computer Proficiency: Familiarity with data entry software, database management systems, and spreadsheet programs like Microsoft Excel is often necessary.

Organizational Skills: The ability to keep data and records organized and easily retrievable.

Communication Skills: Clear verbal and written communication is needed to clarify data requirements with colleagues.

Education: A high school diploma or equivalent is typically required, with on-the-job training providing much of the specific skills needed.

Common Tasks and Environments

Data entry clerks often work in office environments but can also perform their duties remotely.

In addition to core data entry tasks, they may assist with general office duties, such as scanning documents or providing administrative support.
