Accounting Specialist

Description We are looking for an experienced Accounting Specialist to join our team in Alpharetta, Georgia. This is a Contract-to-Permanent position, offering an excellent opportunity to contribute to essential financial operations while advancing your career. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills and a keen attention to detail to ensure accuracy in accounting processes.

Responsibilities:

Process accounts payable and receivable transactions with precision, adhering to strict deadlines.

Prepare, review, and reconcile general ledger accounts to maintain financial accuracy.

Assist in month-end and year-end closing procedures to ensure timely reporting.

Maintain comprehensive records of financial transactions in alignment with company policies and accounting standards.

Support the creation of financial reports and statements for internal and external use.

Provide documentation and explanations during audits to facilitate compliance.

Monitor and reconcile bank statements to ensure consistency and accuracy.

Collaborate with team members to optimize accounting processes and resolve discrepancies. Requirements - Minimum of 2 years of accounting experience, preferably in accounts payable and receivable.

Proficiency in managing billing functions and account reconciliations.

Strong understanding of general accounting principles and practices.

Demonstrated ability to work with financial systems and tools effectively.

Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.

Strong organizational abilities to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.

Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and external parties.
