Job Title: Technical Accounting Manager

About the Role

A leading global organization is seeking a Technical Accounting Manager to join its dynamic finance team. This high-impact role offers the opportunity to work on complex accounting issues, contribute to global financial reporting, and collaborate with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, innovative environment.

This position plays a critical role in ensuring compliance with US GAAP, IFRS, and SEC regulations, while supporting strategic initiatives and maintaining SOX compliance.

Key Responsibilities

Provide technical accounting support for complex transactions and ensure compliance with US GAAP and IFRS.

Lead documentation and reporting of expected credit losses under ASC 326 and IFRS 9.

Research and interpret new accounting standards and regulatory changes.

Review quarterly and annual SEC filings (10-K, 10-Q).

Maintain SOX compliance for the Financial Services segment.

Collaborate with internal teams to update and implement accounting policies.

Support financial audits and respond to technical accounting inquiries.

Review contracts and business arrangements for proper accounting treatment.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting (required).

CPA certification (required).

6+ years of experience in technical accounting, ideally with Big 4 public accounting experience and exposure to large, international financial services or manufacturing clients.

Strong understanding of US GAAP, IFRS, SEC compliance, and financial systems.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Proven ability to write technical accounting memos and collaborate across departments.
