Customer Service Representative

Description We are looking for a dedicated Customer Service Representative to join our team on a contract basis in Whittier, California. In this role, you will serve as the primary point of contact for customers, providing timely information and resolving issues related to shipments and services. Your ability to collaborate across departments and maintain clear communication will be essential to delivering exceptional customer experiences.

Responsibilities:

Address and resolve both domestic and international mail hold issues promptly.

Document detailed notes in Salesforce for all hold cases and update client information as required.

Act as a liaison between distribution centers and customers to ensure issues are resolved effectively.

Collaborate with sales, operations, and other departments to resolve customer concerns.

Identify customer needs proactively and provide tailored recommendations.

Conduct customer training sessions on web portal usage and company-specific data systems.

Maintain high service levels by ensuring thorough communication, project implementation, and follow-up.

Foster a team-oriented environment to enhance collaboration and efficiency.

Adapt to flexible work schedules based on business requirements.

Perform additional duties as assigned to support operational goals. Requirements - Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.

Proven organizational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively.

High school diploma or equivalent educational background.

A minimum of 2-4 years of relevant work experience.

Ability to work in a detail-oriented office setting, with occasional movement in warehouse environments.

Comfortable with regular sitting at a workstation for extended periods and occasional standing and walking. TalentMatch®
