Accounts Payable Specialist

Location: Longmont, CO (Onsite)

Pay Rate: $30/hour

Schedule: Temp-Hire- flexible hours 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM MST

MUST BE AVAILABLE TO START ASAP

Experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to join our finance team. This is an urgent opportunity, as our previous AP Specialist left unexpectedly. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, efficient, and experienced in high-volume AP processing.

Key Responsibilities

Perform high-volume data entry of vendor invoices (approximately 500 vouchers per month) received via shared inbox.

Conduct 3-way matching (invoice, purchase order, receiving report).

Assist with or manage weekly check runs.

Ensure accuracy and timeliness of all AP transactions.

Utilize the Chempax ERP system for daily processing (experience with Oracle or JD Edwards is a plus but not required).

Maintain strong communication with vendors and internal teams.

Must-Have Qualifications

3-5 years of Accounts Payable experience , preferably in a high-volume environment.

Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

Ability to process ~500 vouchers per month accurately and efficiently.

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
