Application Developer - Enterprise Platforms

CTG is seeking to fill an Application Developer - Enterprise Platforms position for our client.

Location: Remote

Duration: 12 months

Duties:

Develop, maintain, and support applications on enterprise Mainframe and Mid-Range platforms such as VM, TPF, Microfocus COBOL, Tandem, HP-3000.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

Participate in system design, testing, and implementation activities.

Troubleshoot and resolve application issues to ensure high availability and performance.

Document development processes, code changes, and system configurations.

Skills:

Strong experience in application development and support on enterprise Mainframe and Mid-Range platforms (VM, TPF, Microfocus COBOL, Tandem, HP-3000).

Knowledge of application lifecycle management, version control, and deployment processes.

Ability to analyze and optimize application performance.

Familiarity with debugging, testing, and problem-solving tools.

Experience:

Demonstrated experience in developing and supporting applications on at least one of the specified platforms.

Experience working in collaborative, team-oriented environments.

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.

Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.

The expected base salary for this position ranges from $50.00 to $120.00/hour. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, market factors, and where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained. In addition to salary, a competitive benefit package is also offered.
