Northrop Grumman is seeking an Associate Manufacturing Engineer. This position will be located at our Defense Systems Sector in Roy, UT

Roles and Responsibilities-

Develop processes by studying requirements; research, design, modify, and test production/deployment methods and equipment Collaborates with Design Engineering on design to ensure practical manufacturing and fabrication solutions Work with suppliers to develop manufacturing planning for successful preparation and execution of MRAs Research and evaluate commercially available tools and equipment to support deployment activities Investigates root cause of discrepancies and implements corrective actions Troubleshoots existing processes to improve safety, quality, cost, and efficiency Develops and maintains detailed work and install instructions for assigned products/processes Educates/trains operators on new and existing processes Establish and maintain a program project plan and schedule that is aligned with the program Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) Provide on-site engineering support during field installations Provides advanced technological ideas and Subject Matter Expertise (SME) to resolve technical questions and ensure compliance to the Engineering and Manufacturing Development (EMD) Statement of Work (SOW) requirements Implement Lean practices to continually identify opportunities for improvement

Basic Qualifications:

A candidate must meet ALL of the below criteria. The candidate must:

Be completing or has completed their degree (Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD) from an accredited institution.

Be majoring in or having majored in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering Technology or Manufacturing Engineering Technology.

Be able to obtain a U.S. Government security clearance (U.S. citizenship is a pre-requisite).

Preferred Qualifications:

Have an overall cumulative GPA of 3.0/4.0 or higher.

Salary Range: $58,800 - $87,200
