We are currently looking for a Process Engineer Coop/Intern at our Belvidere, NJ office.

The 2026 dsm-firmenich Spring-Summer Coop/Internship Program will run from January 5, 2026 to August 14, 2026.

Working Hours: Monday - Friday, 7:00am - 4:00pm

Your Key Responsibilities:

Gain an understanding of the plant, processes, and equipment by working with a diverse group of functional areas, such as Safety, Health, & Environment (SHE), Quality, Improve Plant Engineering, Operations, and more.

Learn about continuous improvement and apply new manufacturing 4.0 techniques like advanced analytics and digital tools.

Apply knowledge gained in the classroom to a plant processing business environment for vitamin manufacturing

You Bring:

Currently working on completion of a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering

Candidates must be available to work full-time on-site beginning on January 5, 2026 to August 14, 2026.

Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills; able to manage priorities and workflow

Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm

The hourly rate for this position is $23.00 - $26.00 per hour. Compensation will be dependent on factors that include location, education, training, specific skills, and years of experience.
