We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to fill the role of a Bookkeeping, AP,AR, quarterly reports, 941s, payroll and Everything we do runs through QuickBooks and must be very fluent is this program even to apply. This position is integral to our purchasing, shipping department and requires a keen eye for detail, strong organizational skills, and a commitment to maintaining accuracy in all tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Record Maintenance: Maintain and update financial records through QB, including ledgers, invoices, receipts, and other related documentation, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and relevant regulations.

Data Entry and Reconciliation: Enter financial data into QuickBooks accounting software with precision, ensuring all information is accurate and up-to-date. Reconcile accounts as needed to identify discrepancies and resolve any issues.

Invoice Processing: Manage the processing of incoming and outgoing invoices through QB, ensuring timely and accurate payments. Verify and post transactions to journals, ledgers, and other records.

Auditing Assistance: Assist in the preparation and execution of internal and external audits by organizing and providing necessary documentation and information.

Financial Reporting: Compile financial information to prepare entries for accounts, such as general ledger accounts through QuickBooks, and document business transactions. Assist in generating monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for review by management.

Budget Monitoring: Support the finance team in monitoring budgets and expenditures, providing reports and summaries as needed to ensure financial goals are met.

Compliance and Regulation: Ensure all financial practices comply with company policies and government regulations, including tax filings and other financial reporting requirements.

Communication and Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other departments to resolve financial discrepancies and provide clear communication related to financial matters.

Qualifications:

Proven experience in bookkeeping, accounting, or auditing.

Proficiency in QuickBooks accounting software and MS Office Suite, particularly Excel.

Somewhat strong mathematical skills and attention to detail.

Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.

Good understanding of accounting principles and regulations.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with integrity.

Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

Working Conditions:

Full-time position based at our office.

Professional office environment with the opportunity for growth and development within the company in Plastic Manufacturing.

Occasional need for extended hours during peak financial periods.
