Position Overview: As an Engineering Technician, you'll support production, quality, and engineering teams by improving and implementing procedures across the plant. You'll work on moderately complex assignments, troubleshoot equipment, and train others-all while applying your deep knowledge of machining processes. Key Responsibilities Execute process operations per SOPs Troubleshoot equipment and process disruptions Develop and implement process improvements Support layout evaluations for current and future production Read and interpret CAD drawings, schematics, and technical documents Maintain clean work areas and accurate documentation Use specialized tools (micrometers, calipers, gauges, multimeters, etc.) Model safety and accurate reporting Crosstrain across department processes Train machinists, operators, and inspectors Perform other related duties as assigned Qualifications High school diploma or GED 6+ years of experience as a technician or machine specialist in manufacturing Clean room experience is a plus Ability to pass background and drug screening Eligible to work in an ITAR environment Ability to stand and walk for 90% of the workday Skilled in using microscopes and calibration tools Effective trainer of hourly employees Physical & Environmental Requirements Regular lifting/moving of up to 50 lbs.
