As a Security Professional Armed Aero/Defense Patrol in Canoga Park, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more.
As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol designated areas within an aerospace and defense location, helping to deter security-related incidents and providing peace of mind to those on site. This role requires both an armed guard card and a valid driver's license, as you will be responsible for patrolling by vehicle and/or on foot. You will be a visible presence, offering exceptional customer service and communication while upholding our values of agility, reliability, and integrity. What You'll Do:
Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise
Responsibilities:
Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols for armed personnel.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity, with a focus on areas relevant to the aerospace and defense environment.
Monitor access points and check credentials to help to deter unauthorized entry into restricted areas.
Maintain detailed records of observations, incidents, and activities while on duty.
Assist with emergency response procedures, including evacuations and/or lockdowns, as required by site-specific protocols.
Collaborate with Allied Universal management and site personnel to address security-related concerns and support a secure environment.
Remain alert and prepared to respond to potential threats or incidents specific to the location's operational needs.

Minimum Requirements:
An active armed guard card or license is required.
A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Pepper spray certification is required.
CPR and first aid certification is preferred.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
