A Day in the Role:

Majority of responsibility will be entering information into patient charts.

Going through the paper charts, abstracting the information and putting into the patients chart in Medconnect.

Live patient abstraction, doing a little H/W/V updates.

Supports other members of the clinical care team, assuring optimal best-practice patient flow; manages variable and unpredictable patient volume throughout the workday.

Conducts surveillance for transitions of care, urgent/emergent care, or follow up tasks such as retrieval of documents associated with referrals/testing.

Requirements:

2+ years experience in Clinical or Medical Assistant

MA Registration REQUIRED

Diploma or GED required

EMR experience preferred

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $24.00/hr.

Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
