Work you'll do/Responsibilities

Design, train, test, and deploy machine learning models.

Translate business requirements and define a clear roadmap for delivering ML models.

Perform rigorous testing of ML models and communicate findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Incorporate academic research and industry practices to develop best-in-class solutions that improve customer experience.

Maintain and enhance existing ML models by adding new features through cutting-edge research.

Communicate regularly with Engagement Managers (Directors), project team members, and representatives from various functional and / or technical teams, including escalating any matters that require additional attention and consideration from engagement management

Qualifications

Required

Bachelor's degree, preferably in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or related IT discipline; or equivalent experience.

Deep understanding and hands-on experience with NLP, machine learning, deep learning, optimization, and algorithms.

Prior knowledge of search/recommendation systems and Gen AI is a plus.

Proficient in Python, PySpark, machine learning libraries, SQL, and big data processing systems in a cloud environment.

Proven track record of building ML models and delivering impactful customer-facing products, as well as mentoring junior data scientists.

Limited immigration sponsorship may be available

Ability to travel 10%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve

Preferred

Experience with building AI/ML models for search capabilities (5-6 yrs)

ML Engineering (5-6 yrs)

Strong Python Hands-on experience (3-4)
