Job Overview
As Director of Marketing, you will report to the Director of Sales and Marketing and lead the development and execution of comprehensive marketing strategies to enhance brand awareness, drive customer loyalty, and support revenue growth across hotel and food & beverage (F&B) operations.
You will collaborate closely with Corporate, Commercial, and F&B teams, as well as external partners, to align marketing initiatives with business priorities and deliver measurable results. This role also oversees marketing budgets, vendor relationships, and agency performance across the region.

Duties and Responsibilities
Develop and implement integrated marketing plans to support hotel and F&B business objectives.
Collaborate with internal teams and external agencies to ensure consistent brand messaging across all channels.
Manage hotel's online presence, including branded websites and third-party platforms, with a focus on SEO and engaging content.
Oversee social media strategy and execution across platforms (Meta, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube, etc.).
Analyze performance metrics (e.g., Google Analytics, social media KPIs) to optimize campaigns and ensure strong ROI.
Partner with TravelClick to develop GDS campaigns and advertising strategies.
Lead promotional campaigns, including concept development, creative coordination, communication planning, and post-campaign analysis.
Support sales team with marketing collateral and presentation materials.
F&B Marketing
Develop and implement F&B marketing tools and resources to enhance brand preference and drive revenue.
Collaborate with F&B and Corporate teams to create "Concepts in a Box" that deliver differentiated guest experiences.
Ensure all F&B marketing aligns with brand philosophies and enhances the customer journey.
Stakeholder Engagement & Communication
Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders across departments and regions.
Co-host biweekly hotel marketing meetings to align on activation plans and resource utilization.
Represent the hotel at local events to build market presence and foster community engagement.
Coordinate media relations, including press releases and promotional news distribution.
Financial Management
Oversee marketing budgets, including system and supplier fund planning, deployment, and ROI tracking.
Maximize agency and supplier partnerships to ensure cost-effective marketing spend and brand compliance.
Team Leadership & Development
Lead cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders across diverse cultures and organizational levels.
Foster continuous improvement and engagement in F&B marketing initiatives.
Educate and inspire teams to build marketing proficiency at both corporate and hotel levels.
Responsible Business
Ensure adherence to IHG's Corporate Responsibility practices and proactively support company initiatives.

Qualifications and Requirements
Education
Bachelor's degree/ higher education qualification, four or more years of experience in Marketing
Additional courses and studies desirable i.e. Marketing, Hospitality, F&B etc.
Experience
Multiregional marketing, brand management or communications role with proven experience executing in both mature and emerging markets
Ability to navigate and manage within a global matrix management environment
Management experience of a multifunctional team, including business partners and agencies
10 years progressive work-related experience with demonstrated proficiency in multiple marketing disciplines especially in digital
Travel, Service Industry and/or F&B related experience preferred, not essential, agency experience welcome particular in relation to F&B Marketing
Strong business acumen with budget management and ROI accountability
Skills & Knowledge
Knowledge and proficiency of all aspects of marketing management
Strong understanding and experience with the web, social and mobile channels
Strong agency management, stakeholder communications and project management skills
Superior oral and written communications skills including presentation skills, public speaking ability, and group decision facilitation
Ability to influence internal customers and business leaders and effectively establish strong working relationships that produce solid results
Drive alignment of the function to the business, translating strategy into long term plans and allocating resources to its delivery
Ability to perform multiple efforts to deadline, in a fast paced, high growth environment
