The Customer Service Rep will answer inquiries on customer accounts and investigate any issues, and find resolutions in a timely manner. They will serve as the liaison between the sales staff and the customer.

Responsibilities:

Serve as the primary point of contact for Retail, Industrial Safety, and Safety Bollard customers.

Respond to customer and sales inquiries via phone, email, or chat within 24 hours.

Manage customer expectations by providing clear, timely, and accurate communication.

Partner closely with Sales, Project Managers, Purchasing, and Distribution Centers to ensure orders are fulfilled on time.

Review and verify all orders for accuracy, making corrections as needed and reporting findings.

Provide accurate order tracking updates, including order date changes.

Handle freight quoting and coordinate logistics to meet customer delivery deadlines, including Grand Openings and critical requests.

Document complaints and issues through electronic case forms within 24 hours and develop resolution plans.

Troubleshoot problems and provide timely resolutions, ensuring 99% order accuracy.

Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts to foster loyalty and satisfaction.

Contribute to internal team meetings, sharing customer updates and insights.

Maintain accurate records in customer relationship management systems.

Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

High School graduate or equivalent with a minimum of 2 years of customer service experience in a call center environment. Bachelor's degree preferred

Ability to effectively work in a Windows environment with experience in Outlook, Word, and Excel

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Strong organization and attention to detail

Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

Experience in the distribution industry is preferred

Problem solver with the ability to multitask using judgment and decision-making skills

Excellent detail-oriented customer service skills
