Your New Role
Warner Bros. is seeking am accomplished Head of Transfer Pricing. Reporting directly to the Head of Tax , this role leads the global transfer pricing strategy and operations for the organization. It is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining transfer pricing policies that align with business operations and comply with international tax regulations.
The role will oversee documentation, planning, audit defense, and intercompany pricing models, while partnering with finance, legal, and business units to ensure tax efficiency and risk mitigation.
Your Role Accountabilities
Strategy & Planning:
Design, implement, and maintain the company's global transfer pricing policies and operating models to align with business objectives and achieve efficiencies
Oversee the preparation of global transfer pricing forecasts for tax provision and other planning and restructuring efforts as well as the annual global country-by-country report
Oversee OTP aspects of US GAAP and non-US statutory financial statement preparation.
Identify and drive areas of improvement
Support broader tax strategy and planning initiatives such as modeling the impact of BEPS 2.0.
Compliance & Documentation:
Ensure compliance with OTP SOX controls and maintain necessary documentation / support
Oversee timely and accurate monthly and/or quarterly TP calculations.
Oversee the preparation and filing of transfer pricing documentation, such as Master Files, Local Files, and Country-by-Country Reports, in all relevant jurisdictions.
Ensure all intercompany transactions comply with international standards, like OECD guidelines, and local laws.
Business Partnership & Advisory
Work with various internal departments, including finance, legal, supply chain, and IT, to ensure transfer pricing policies and their implementation are aligned with operational realities
Lead transfer pricing planning and structuring for intercompany transactions
Provide guidance on the transfer pricing implications of new business initiatives, mergers and acquisitions (M&A), restructurings, and supply chain changes
Lead engagements with external advisors and oversee ongoing TP co-sourcing relationship with external advisory firm
Audit and Risk Management:
Lead the company's strategy and represent the organization during audits and disputes with tax authorities worldwide, including the IRS.
Respond to information requests, defending transfer pricing positions, and manage Advance Pricing Agreements (APAs) and other resolution proceedings.
Identify and manage tax risks associated with transfer pricing. Report on uncertain tax positions and maintain internal controls related to intercompany transactions.
Team Leadership & Development:
Communicate senior management strategic visions to staff.
Proactively manage team performance, productivity, and wellbeing, prioritizing resources effectively.
Maintain a high-performance culture by ensuring skills sets and competencies are developed through feedback and development opportunities.
Review and approve the team's goals and objectives.
Model and drive department agility through a culture of continuous process improvement and change management.
Encourage collaboration and productive relationships across teams.
Qualifications & Experience
Minimum 12 years' experience in transfer pricing, international tax, or related advisory roles.
Experience managing global transfer pricing operations and defending positions in audits. Strong background in OECD guidelines and local country regulations.
Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, economics, or related field.
Advanced degree (JD, MBA, or Master's in Tax) preferred.
CPA or equivalent certification a plus.
Expertise in transfer pricing principles, documentation, and audit defense.
Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Familiarity with ERP systems and tax reporting tools.

Actual salaries will vary based on several factors, including but not limited to external market data, internal equity, location, skill set, experience, and/or performance. Base pay is just one component of Warner Bros. Discovery's total compensation package for employees. Pay Range: $234,360.00 - $435,240.00 salary per year. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, short- and long-term incentives, and program-specific awards. In addition, Warner Bros. Discovery provides a variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance coverage, an employee wellness program, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays and sick time and vacation.
