Job Description

Insight Global is seeking an Electrical Installation Technician to install and repair electrical systems for our clients. In this entry-level role, you will be responsible for the installation, troubleshooting, and commissioning of electrical units in the field. You will also respond to equipment breakdowns, perform on-site repairs, conduct preventative maintenance, and provide recommendations for equipment upgrades. As a representative of Greenheck in Northern, Central, and Southeast Florida, you will occasionally work on and start up Greenheck equipment. We offer all necessary factory-level training, as well as field training with our experienced service technicians.

Key Responsibilities (Please note that VFD experience is just a plus. Looking for mostly Electrical Installation experience).

Client Interaction:

Meet with clients to discuss their VFD electrical needs and requirements.

Provide basic VFD instructions and equipment training to clients.

Installation and Commissioning:

Install, troubleshoot, and commission VFD units at clients' locations.

Review electrical connections to ensure proper application of electrical equipment.

Repair and Maintenance:

Respond to equipment breakdowns and perform on-site repairs.

Test, calibrate, and repair damaged VFD units.

Perform preventative maintenance on VFD systems to ensure optimal performance.

Greenheck Equipment Support:

Occasionally work on and start up Greenheck DOAS equipment as needed.

Customer Relations and Sales Support:

Advise clients on equipment upgrades and promote company products and services.

Maintain strong customer relations and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.

Documentation and Reporting:

Complete work orders and maintain detailed records of services performed.

Maintain field instrumentation and equipment in good working order.

Skills and Requirements

Experience with field metering equipment.

Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to diagnose and repair electrical systems.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective client interactions.

Ability to work safely with high voltage electrical systems.

Willingness to travel within Northern, Central, and Southeast Florida.

Need to be able to pass a drug and driving background check because they will need get their JLA badging (Jessica Lunsford Act) - Any Electrical Certifications

Any experience with VFD (Variable Frequency Drive)
