Job Title: Accounts Payable Clerk

Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team. This role is responsible for managing the full cycle of accounts payable processes, including invoice tracking, reconciliation, and vendor communication.

Responsibilities

Review and ensure proper approval of non-trip related invoices before processing.

Process invoices promptly and ensure timely payments to vendors in accordance with agreed terms.

Respond to vendor inquiries via phone and email in a professional and timely manner.

Perform regular statement reconciliations to maintain accurate records.

Coordinate with internal departments to ensure accurate coding and approval of invoices.

Exercise sound judgment within established policies and procedures to meet departmental goals.

Collaborate with operations and finance teams to resolve discrepancies and improve workflow efficiency.

Essential Skills

2+ years of accounts payable experience, ideally with general accounting experience.

Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP systems.

Comfortable handling data entry and repetitive tasks throughout the day.

Experience with reconciliation, Microsoft Excel, three-way matching, month-end processes, accounts receivable, and general ledger.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Previous experience in accounts payable or a related finance function.

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Excellent communication skills for interacting with vendors and internal teams.

Ability to work independently while following established guidelines.

Strong written and verbal communication abilities.

Familiarity with standard office software, including Microsoft Word and PowerPoint.

Proficient with ten-key data entry.

Ability to apply basic and intermediate mathematical concepts.

Skilled in prioritizing multiple tasks and solving practical problems using sound judgment.

Self-motivated, trustworthy, punctual, and organized.

Valid driver's license.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $24.00/hr.
