Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and responsible Driver-Swing to join our team. This role involves delivering products to customers efficiently and safely while ensuring all delivery and pickup documentation is accurately completed.

Responsibilities

Maintain regular and punctual attendance according to shift-times or a pre-arranged work schedule.

Follow all policies, procedures, and work instructions.

Wear and maintain proper personal protective equipment (PPE).

Ensure that all products are loaded properly in trucks to ensure arrival undamaged.

Drive truck to deliver products to customer's place of business.

Load and unload vehicle, unassisted or with the assistance of helpers, with or without forklifts.

Lift, pull, push, and carry goods and other freight of varying weights over long distances, rough terrain, or stairs.

Ensure proper scanning of jobs and obtain signatures via the shipping proof of delivery app.

Issue or obtain customer signature on receipt for pickup or delivery.

Match certifications/travelers to the respective job, and ensure accuracy before scanning the job to the customer.

Maintain basic shipping paperwork, checking for accuracy and detail.

Assist the receiving department in the transportation and storage of received material and customer product or containment.

Operate pallet jacks and forklifts with caution for self, others, and products.

Drive safely and defensively, obeying the rules of the road.

Essential Skills

Ability to read, write, and speak the English language.

Detail-oriented and quick learner.

Organizational skills.

Forklift training and certification.

Excellent vision, including normal color vision.

Must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds without assistance, and up to 100 pounds with assistance.

Good communication skills with the ability to represent the company positively.

Ability to work alone or as a member of a team with good cooperative skills.

Ability to drive a 22-foot box truck.
