Medical Office Assistant - Fast-Paced Clinic

Location: Harford County, MD

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7:45 AM - 4:15 PM

Dress Code: Business Casual - All Black Uniforms

Job Description:

We are seeking a Medical Office Assistant to join a dynamic and fast-paced clinic environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Answer and manage high-volume phone calls with professionalism and efficiency

Schedule patient appointments and follow-ups

Confirm lab orders and future clinic visits

Check out patients and provide necessary documentation

Perform administrative duties including filing, faxing, and note-taking

Review insurance information and assist with billing inquiries

Collaborate with support staff to ensure smooth clinic operations

Utilize Meditech and/or EPIC systems (preferred but not required)

Qualifications:

Minimum 1+ year of experience in medical secretary, scheduling, or administrative roles

Must have MA certification but no experience required

Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills

Experience with patient check-in/check-out and scheduling

Familiarity with insurance processes and documentation

Experience with Meditech or EPIC is a plus

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $21.00/hr.
