Your Responsibilities

As an Engineer, Crawler Electrical for John Deere Dubuque Works located in Dubuque, IA , you will....

Lead the design and development of electrical components and harnesses for specific Crawler models

Lead and participate in the Product Delivery process, ensuring all activities and plans are formulated and followed to launch new vehicle programs into production

Participate in competitor benchmarking, vehicle specification development, as well as creation and maintenance of product design guidelines for Crawlers

Provide problem solving support of electrical issues on proto@type machines and current production units

What Skills You Need

Knowledge of Electrical Systems and Components (through relevant course work, practical work experience or internships)

Strong problem solving skills and a willingness to attack emerging issues, determine root cause, and drive corrective action

Experience with 3D modeling tools

Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively within cross-functional and culturally diverse teams

Ability to travel up to 25% based on business needs

What Makes You Stand Out

Expertise and demonstrated experience with electrical systems and components

Knowledge of electrical systems for mobile equipment applications

Knowledge with Modeling tools for harness routing and drawing creation (i.e. Creo/ProCable, MentorGraphics - Capital Harness)

Experience working with electrical suppliers

Basic understanding of electrical harness manufacturing process

Education

Ideally you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following:

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent related work experience
