Compensation:
The wage range listed represents the potential compensation opportunities for this position. Starting salary will be thoughtfully determined by the hiring manager based on a variety of factors including candidate experience, education, relevant skills, and qualifications brought to the role. The initial offer could be any amount within the posted range, reflecting Epsilon's commitment to fair and competitive compensation.

You will be working onsite at the Marine Corp University's Quantico, VA location.
Our Customer's Mission :
The Marine Corps University (MCU) is a military education university of the United States Marine Corps. Hosted in a unified data center, MCU's Information Technology services are delivered through a wired.edu network and domain, as well as a wireless "Bring Your Own Device" network. Epsilon provides Information Technology services for the MCU including network and systems, data center, service desk, cybersecurity, and audio visual/video teleconferencing.
An average day:
As AV/VTC Technician I, you will be a part of an AV/VTC team that provides installation, configuration, maintenance, sustainment, operational support, monitoring, and administration of audiovisual and Video Teleconference (VTC) equipment and events in both classroom and auditorium settings for the Marine Corps University. In this position you will:
Operate, facilitate, and support complex audiovisual systems in MCU auditoriums in support of MCU events. Configure, support, and troubleshoot problems with basic audiovisual and associated computer equipment in classrooms.
Conduct arrangements and provide real time on-site support for VTC sessions involving MCU VTC assets. Configure VTC equipment for proper operation and troubleshoot problems that occur before or during VTC sessions.
Setup, initiate, and conduct operational checks for briefings and video conferences within USMC facilities. Instruct MCU personnel in the proper operation of the VTC system and perform physical setup of classrooms, when required.
Respond to customer trouble calls and tracking tickets in the IT/AV tracking software. Collect requirements from customers to meet needs.
Support high level events to include venue rehearsals and coordination. Provide tier 3 support for all AV/VTC systems in the MCU environment.
Code, configure, manage, and install AV systems, installing AV related equipment to include, but not limited to, AV switching devices, VTC, camera, audio and video.
Provide tier 3 support for auditorium production equipment such as lighting, camera, mics and recording events.
Operate complex smart board/MondoPad systems in MCU auditoriums and classrooms in support of MCU events. Configure and troubleshoot problems with smart board equipment, to include imaging and connections to the MCU network.
Coordinate with the IA Task Lead to incorporate required IA controls into network and data center design and provide information security for MCU networks.
Monitor and display proper maintenance on all A/V equipment for repairs including renewing fully charged batteries.
Monitor all software updates for InFocus Mondopad's and Microsoft Office for each device in all classrooms and conference rooms in the facility.
Assist other team members as required to provide the customer with a superior level of support.
Maintain an open and clear communication with MCU's IET Helpdesk Support and Student/Faculty on all issues related to A/V and VTC matters on campus.
Basic Qualifications:
As a requirement of this position, all candidates must be a U.S. Citizen. In accordance with 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(2)(C) , Epsilon will not consider candidates for this position who do not meet the aforementioned conditions.
DOD 8570 IAT Level II Certification required (GSEC, GICSP, CND, CySA+, Security+ CE, SSCP or CCNA-Security).
Possess knowledge and experience in the operation of digital audiovisual systems like Haivision, V-Brick, AMX, and Cisco.
Possess knowledge and experience in configuring VTC systems and establishing and maintaining connectivity with other VTC sites.
Must be able to provide audio visual system operational coverage of MCU events outside of normal working hours and the capacity to surge support in times of event saturation.
Knowledge and understanding of the Technology industry.
Experience with Microsoft Office Outlook, Excel, and Word
Demonstrated leadership, excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Strong team player; self-assured, confident, and goal-oriented.
Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities and delegate effectively.
Ability to solve problems and translate policies into daily routine operations.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Other Requirements:
Must hold active DOD Interim Secret or Secret Clearance. ( This is a federal contract position and requires candidates to obtain and maintain the appropriate level of Security Clearance or Public Trust. Adjudication of the required Security Clearance or Public Trust is determined solely by the government. If the government determines that the candidate cannot obtain and/or maintain the appropriate level of Security Clearance or Public Trust, Epsilon will be unable to place the candidate in this position.)
Weekend or after-hours support may be required on occasion.
