Job Summary

We are seeking a bold, strategic, and technically savvy Senior Automation Lead to drive our enterprise automation initiatives. This role will will serve as the driving connection between cross-functional engineering teams and our automation contractors. You'll lead the charge in defining automation strategy, managing execution, and ensuring alignment with our frameworks and processes. This is a high-impact leadership role with visibility across multiple teams. The ideal candidate is assertive, outcome-driven, and thrives in environments where influence and communication are key.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the development and execution of scalable automation strategies across multiple teams

Supervise and mentor a team of contractors and informal reports supporting automation efforts

Define and manage the automation backlog, track progress, and ensure delivery milestones are met

Enforce adherence to automation frameworks, standards, and best practices

Act as a liaison between engineering leadership and delivery teams, maintaining a constant feedback loop

Champion low-code/no-code automation tools; TOSCA experience is a plus

Navigate ambiguity and drive clarity in high-stakes, cross-functional environments

Influence stakeholders constructively---even when it means challenging the status quo

Required Qualifications

7+ years of experience in software quality engineering or automation

3+ years of experience leading automation initiatives at scale

Hands-on experience with low-code/no-code automation platforms

Proven ability to lead and influence cross-functional teams without formal authority

Strong communication and interpersonal skills; able to deliver tough feedback constructively

Experience managing contractors or offshore teams

Comfortable working in a hybrid environment with distributed teams

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with TOSCA or similar automation tools

Familiarity with Agile methodologies and backlog management

Prior experience in enterprise-scale automation transformation
