As a Vice President in the GB Finance Analytics team, you will partner with business managers, strategy, and finance teams to deliver business and financial analytics for GB and its segments. You will provide analyses that inform public disclosures, support Investor Day and industry conferences, and help drive the business strategy. In this role, you will create, maintain, and review financial models, conduct deep-dive analyses, and propose solutions to key business challenges. You will also collaborate with stakeholders across the Global Bank, develop insightful reporting, and lead a team focused on continuous improvement and automation.
Job Responsibilities
Lead dialogue with senior business leadership and stakeholders to provide insights on business trends, financial performance, and industry strategy
Prepare presentation materials and financial analytics for senior management meetings, quarterly reviews, and budget discussions
Create, maintain, and review recurring and ad-hoc financial models and analyses
Conduct deep-dive analyses on key issues impacting clients and the business, identifying root causes and proposing solutions
Develop, consolidate, and present qualitative and quantitative financial analysis for senior management and internal clients
Support and participate in ad-hoc special projects and requests as needed
Partner with Business Management and Analytics teams to develop insightful reporting and drive actionable dialogue
Drive process simplification, automation, and enhancement of analytics and business support
Lead and manage a team, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
BA/BS in Finance, Economics, Accounting and corporate finance with at least 5 years of experience
Understands a Bank's balance sheet and P&L
Experience in corporate financial analytics / understanding of key drivers
Exceptional analytical, problem solving and project management skills with a proven track record of execution against deliverables; strategic thinker
Excellent oral & written communication and relationship management skills
Strong technical and analytical skills, including Excel, PowerPoint,
Organized and detail-oriented with the ability to synthesize large amounts of data, summarize key concepts and articulate appropriately
Strong work ethic; work well in a fast-paced environment
Proactive and have a sense of urgency, ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines
The candidate must be a self-starter and seeks to break the status-quo and initiate improvements where necessary
Ability to build strong partnerships with colleagues
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
Management consulting, corporate finance, or accounting experience preferred
Prior experience with Essbase
Advanced data visualization skills
Experience leading and managing teams, including cross-functional collaboration
Exposure to automation and process improvement initiatives
Experience supporting Investor Day or industry conference presentations
Demonstrated ability to drive value-add change
