JOB REQUIREMENTS: Job Summary: The Focused Behavioral Treatment
Therapist (FBTT) is primarily responsible for ensuring the effective
implementation of all treatment and programming for clients receiving
focused treatment as described by the fundamental responsibilities as
listed below. The FBTT also participates in conducting functional
behavior assessments and the development of behavior support plans based
on these assessments under the supervision of an assigned Behavior
Analyst(s). In support of ABA of Wisconsin\'s mission and vision, the
FBTT works closely with the BCBA and other staff to provide the highest
quality client services attainable by the organization using obtainable
resources. Supervisory Responsibilities: None. Duties/Responsibilities:
Behavior Analytic Services Directly implements skill acquisition and
behavior reduction plans written by a supervising BCBA for clients in
ABA of Wisconsin\'s Focused Behavioral Treatment program. Maintains
productivity of at least 80% direct services with clients. Collaborates
with team members, family members, caregivers, and other service
providers as necessary to ensure continuity of care during regularly
scheduled home and community-based visits. Assists BCBAs in performing
direct and indirect assessments to identify the function(s) of the
client\'s behavior. Supports BCBAs in developing behavior support plans
based on function(s) of behavior consisting of treatment methodologies
that are evidence based and reflect the most recent research findings.
Is responsible for maintaining thorough knowledge and understanding of
each intervention in place for each client on his/her caseload at all
times. Evaluates the effectiveness of the implemented behavioral
intervention plans and modifies interventions and/or intervention
methods in collaboration with the supervising BCBA when necessary.
Attends all relevant meetings for clients and works effectively as part
of a clinical team. This will require availability 2-3 evenings per
week. Completes case management responsibilities as assigned by the
supervising BCBA; prepares and submits all required documentation in a
timely manner. Meets regularly with the supervising BCBA to address any
program changes, complete further training and for ongoing supervision
and consultation. Helps with additional clients (not on assigned team)
by filling in for direct services, as needed. Data Collection,
Documentation, and Communication Collects accurate and timely data for
all behavior programs using Central Reach or other data collection
tools; assists the BCBA with data analysis so that efficacy of treatment
can be assessed, and data-based decisions can be made. Generates
objective session notes for every session detailing client response to
intervention and other relevant events that occurred. Communicates with
supervising BCBAs on a regular basis (includes but not limited to
treatment concerns, critical incidents, scheduling issues, variables
affecting client progress, etc.). Provides a summary of session results
to parents/guardians and/or clients at the end of each client session.
Other Duties Works collaboratively with other company staff. Develops
and maintains strong working relationships with other staff as needed
for effective operations. Performs other duties and special projects as
assigned. Required Skills/Abilities: 18 years of age. Ability to analyze
and gather information skillfully. Excellent customer service skills.
Ability to take positive and constructive feedback on performance of
duties in a way that is productive for ABA of Wisconsin, the agency, and
the client(s). Demonstrated problem-solving ability under challenging
conditions (e.g., ability to manage physical aggression and other
challenging behaviors demonstrated by clients). Well organized and
meticulous. Ability to follow written protocol and accurately collect
data. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Excellent
interpersonal relationship-building skills with employees, supervisors,
clients, and other agencies to maintain effective working teams and
relationships. Excellent critical thinking and decision-making ability.
Demonstrated user skills with MS Suite or Google Suite; ability to learn
and master other software and user devices. Ability to travel within
assigned Wisconsin regions; must have reliable transportation. Must
possess a valid Wisconsin driver\'s license and proof of personal auto
insurance meeting Wisconsin minimum requirements. Successful completion
of all required background checks. Education and Experience: Have a
certification as a Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst (BCaBA)
issued by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB). OR Have a
master\'s degree from an institution found on the national accreditation
database. Have, and attest to, a minimum of 400 hours of documented
training and supervised experience delivering a Wisconsin-approved
treatment model. OR Have a bachelor\'s degree from an institution found
on the national accreditation database. Have, and attest to, a minimum
of 2,000 hours of documented training and supervised experience
delivering a Wisconsin-approved treatment model. OR Have a certificate
as a Registered Behavior Technician issued by the BACB and have, and
attest to, a minimum of 2,000 hours of documented training and
supervised experience delivering a Wisconsin-approved treatment model.
Physical Requirements: Prolonged periods standing and walking. Must be
able to lift up to fifty pounds at a time. Must be physically, mentally,
and emotionally able to provide responsible care for all children,
including children with disabilities. Must be able to kneel, sit, stand,
crawl, lower, bend, crouch, lunge, push, and pull to assist and instruct
children throughout the day. Repetitive movements of the knee, back,
wrist, and hands; grasping securely with the hands. ** OTHER
