Maintains pressurized washer system.Responsibilities:Cleans metal parts of all foreign materials and prepares them for paintingInspects parts for missing welds and other defectsManually dries partsLoads and unloads parts, tree rolls, spray cleaning area, and ovensMaintains cleaning system, including hoses and spray gunsCoordinates component flow with other departmentsAll other duties as assigned by managementQualifications:High school diploma or equivalentAbility to wear a full bodysuit with a respiratorAbility to read a tape measureAbility to read a blueprintAbility to use handle spraying equipmentAbility to communicate with the factory supervisor effectivelyMust be able to communicate effectively with factory supervisionWork Environment:ADA Physical/Mental/Workplace RequirementsAble to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.Able to stand (75%); walk (20%); stoop, kneel, or crouch (5%), as required.Ability to climb a portable ladderAble to wear safety glasses and foot protection throughout shift.Able to wear hearing protectors (earplugs) throughout the shift while working in an environment with moderate noise levels.Gorbel is an Equal Opportunity Employer that does not discriminate on the basis of actual or perceived race, creed, color, religion, alienage or national origin, ancestry, citizenship status, age, disability or handicap, gender, marital status, veteran status, sexual orientation, genetic information, arrest record, or any other characteristic protected by applicable federal, state or local laws.
