This individual will serve a key function in leading accounting services including but not limited to oversight of journal entries, financial reporting and daily cash management. In this role, you will have the opportunity to impact special accounting projects that support firm leadership and drive operational success.Job Responsibilities Assist the Corporate Controller and Assistant Controller in the direction of the accounting and finance functions of the organization. Oversight and assistance with the company's monthly, quarterly and annual financial closes. Includes preparation of monthly financial reporting packages. Work closely with the Operations Team on monthly revenue reporting, close out of invoices and accounts receivable tracking. Preparation of the annual operating and capital budgets and assist with mid-year projections and forecasting. Assist with managing the payroll, general ledger accounting, fixed asset accounting, accounts receivable, accounts payable and banking and treasury teams. Responsible for the management of the annual financial audit, working closely with the external auditors to ensure the field work is completed and financial statements are finalized timely. Assist the team with compensation matters such as employee metrics, annual staff and executive salary, and bonus programs; and Performs other duties as requested. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting. CPA or MBA preferred; 10+ years' experience in an accounting department, with 5+ years' in management role External audit experience, preferably a large to midsize accounting firm Exposure to complex organizational structures and acquisitions Knowledge of monthly accounting close procedures, financial reporting, compilation of budgets, internal controls and managing a team of professionals. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook. Knowledge of Deltek Vision software and SAP preferred; Excellent written and verbal communication skills; Strong attention to detail with excellent analytical, multitasking, and judgment capabilities; and * Ability to effectively work independently and in a team environment.
