Accounts Payable Supervisor/Manager

Description We are looking for an experienced Accounts Payable Supervisor/Manager to join our team on a contract basis in West Hollywood, California. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in managing accounts payable processes and ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of financial operations. You will play a key role in overseeing invoice coding, payment processing, and related activities.

Responsibilities:

Oversee and manage the accounts payable operations, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.

Supervise the coding of invoices and ensure accuracy in financial documentation.

Coordinate and execute payment processes, including check runs and Automated Clearing House (ACH) transactions.

Monitor and improve workflow efficiency within the accounts payable department.

Review and approve invoices for payment, ensuring proper documentation and authorization.

Maintain vendor relationships and address any payment-related inquiries.

Prepare reports and analyses related to accounts payable activities for management review.

Ensure timely and accurate processing of payments to vendors.

Train and support team members to enhance productivity and adherence to best practices. Requirements - Proven experience in accounts payable management or supervision.

Strong knowledge of invoice coding, check runs, and ACH payment processes.

Excellent organizational and leadership skills to manage workflows and team performance.

Proficiency in financial systems and tools used for accounts payable tasks.

Ability to analyze and resolve payment discrepancies effectively.

Strong communication skills to interact with vendors and internal teams.

Detail-oriented with a commitment to maintaining accuracy in financial processes.

Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field preferred.
