This is a third shift position which includes an 12% added pay differential .
Provide Operations Engineering support to the Circuit Card Assembly Factory located in Andover, MA. Primary responsibilities will be to support the Operation of Conformal Coating Process lines. This includes automated and programable equipment, for multiple products, and multiple coating @types. Additional responsibilities include process improvement, cycle time reduction, defect prevention and operator support. Role requires participation in process improvement initiatives, establishment of process base line metrics, SPC implementation, Defect prevention, and process data analysis.
What You Will Do
Creating and overseeing projects using risk management techniques
Translating engineering design requirements into formal manufacturing process documentation
Computer and machine programming for manufacturing automation
Dispositioning of discrepant production hardware
Leading root cause and corrective action investigations to solve problems and prevent recurrence
Participate in process improvement and cost reduction initiatives using Lean Manufacturing methodology
Manufacturing process development and support
Conducting safety, job hazard, and/or ergonomic assessments
Interaction with senior personnel on technical matters that often requires coordination between organizations and / or suppliers.
Tool/fixture development to drive ergonomics and reductions in cost and/or defects.
Qualifications You Must Have
Typically Requires a Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Math (STEM) and minimum 0-2 years of relevant experience.
The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, asonly U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
Qualifications We Prefer
Bachelor of Science degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Materials Engineering, or Plastics Engineering .
Knowledge and experience with ANSI J-STD-001 Class 3 & IPC-CC-830 (or MIL-I-46058)
Experience in applying Lean Manufacturing principals.
Experience with supporting circuit card assembly production floor, (process and/or quality focus).
Specialized Tooling Development (Jigs, Fixtures, Specialized Packaging Development)
Masking Development (Boots, Die Cuts, automated masking dispensing)
Experience/Knowledge of IPC-CC-830 Coatings - Urethane, Silicone, Parylene, Acrylic, and Epoxy
Experience supporting the following equipment:
PVA Delta 8
Nordson automated Dispenser
Knowledge and ability to apply Six Sigma principles and techniques.
Experience in DFMA principles
Strong organization skills with ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Self-motivated and results oriented.
Innovative mindset that drives continuous improvement and keeps pace with advances in technology.
Detail oriented with strong coordination skills.
Ability to work in a team setting as well as individually.
Proven written and oral communication skills, including presentation skills.

Proficiency with CAD solid modeling tools
Active DoD security clearance (confidential)
Experience with automated equipment and programming

Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products.
The salary range for this role is 55,000 USD - 107,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
