Lab Technician - Administrative Support

Responsibilities

Generate COAs using laboratory results

Maintain a current status for all training and certifications and prepare standards and reagents.

Perform lab housekeeping and sample management duties to ensure a clean and safe work area, dispose of lab waste per guidelines, and maintain chemical and supply inventory.

Essential Skills

Organizational skills

Administrative support and data entry

Familiarity with laboratory operations support and analytical chemistry.

Proficiency in data entry and using MS Office, including Excel and Google Sheets.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Candidates must have a minimum of a GED or high school diploma; an AS degree in a science such as environmental science, biology, or chemistry is preferred.

High volume administrative support experience is required

Understanding and commitment to complying with safety and regulatory standards

Ability to lift 50-100 lbs, which are cylinders.

Soft skills: organized, detail-oriented, accurate, agile, and able to prioritize quickly, work with short deadlines, and have strong communication skills to support the team.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00/hr.
