Salary Range: $104,000 - $156,000 (dependent on experience)

General Responsibilities
As a competent Registered Professional Engineer, you will:
Apply all conventional aspects of HVAC and plumbing design engineering.
Supervise multi-disciplinary teams of engineers and designers.
Focus on higher education, ports, and energy projects.
Administer all phases of projects from proposal development through construction completion.
Take primary responsibility for budgeting, scheduling, planning, design, and specification writing.
Direct, control, and monitor all activities on multiple projects simultaneously.
Develop new solutions to unusual problems and perform complex engineering, economic calculations, and modeling.
Prepare construction estimates and develop specifications involving multiple disciplines.
Mentor less experienced engineers and manage client relationships and project budgets.
Review submittals, produce meeting reports, and run construction meetings.
Attend professional meetings and contribute to internal training sessions.
Position Requirements
Registered Professional Engineer (PE License) preferred
5-10 years of engineering design and project management experience
Experience with all aspects of HVAC and Plumbing Design
Experience with design-build projects
Experience performing energy studies, audits, and analysis
Working knowledge of the Clean Buildings Law, HB1390, and Climate Action Plan
Experience and knowledge of state and local codes
Comfortable presenting complex engineering concepts to clients, industry partners, and staff
Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering
LEED Accreditation is a plus
